Inclusion Statement

FrankArts is committed to inclusion in the arts community we serve. We have the highest regard for makers of all kinds and skill levels. We keep in mind that we were all beginners once too. With that in mind, we acknowledge that, like beginners, we sometimes have a limited view on who is making in our community and how we can best reach them. This includes artist presenters and participants alike.

Therefore, we continually commit to being open to presenters and including those who are BIPOC and LGBTQ+. When artist presenters partner with FrankArts, it's relational as much as it is business. We want to offer our support. If you are an artist who would like to present a workshop with FrankArts or you would like to recommend someone, please reach out to us at tommy@frankarts.com. We don't have all the secrets to pulling in big crowds, but we'd love to try it with you if you'd like to partner with us.

We are also committed to making our workshops available to those who are experiencing systemic hardship and need an opportunity to learn skills that might empower them to change their circumstances. Or who simply need inspiration that can feed their creative spirit. Scholarships are available, especially for folks who are BIPOC or LGBTQ+. Again, we want to have an engaging relationship with you and encourage you to reach out by emailing to tommy@frankarts.com.

Furthermore, we recognize that it can be overwhelming to feel like you have to explain your need. Therefore, for every workshop we present, the first 20 participants who identify as BIPOC, LQBTQ+ or who have been affected by COVID-19 can use the promo code INCLUDEME at checkout to receive a 50% discount on an upcoming live virtual workshop or any workshop recording.
